{This wedding planned, designed and coordinated by Lacy Geary}

What a gorgeous day for this June wedding. What more could you ask for? Well, a stunning view of Columbia only added to the magic of this day. Anna and John picked The Summit Club for their reception which gave their guests an incredible view of the city without a cloud in the sky.

The couple had a very particular vision for their day and it was elegant but simple. They both loved Florida where they met so incorporating the shore was important and John is an avid golfer. Anna wanted to mix both of those elements into the reception but with understated elegance and class. We were able to pull this off with little touches throughout the space.

We had the pleasure of working with these incredible vendors:

Vendor {Love}

Reception: The Summit Club

Ceremony: St. Peter’s Catholic Church

Cake: Parkland Cakes

Florist: Rosewood Florist

Photography: Kickstand Studios

DJ: King Entertainment

Rentals: Palmetto Party Rental

Transportation: Captain Telegram

Transportation: 5 Star Limo

The Ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Anna had an incredible eye and picked a very neutral palate that went great with the church as well as the venue. Her colors were creams, navy blue with a hint of green.

The bridesmaids wore beautiful striped dresses with a monogramed navy sash.

Rosewood Florist created a soft and elegant bouquet for the bride with cream roses and limelight hydrangeas.

This same style was incorporated throughout the reception with more of an emphasis on the whites and creams.  In the centerpieces we included the beach feeling in some arrangements and the golf feeling in others with golf balls and tees.

Parkland created an amazing cake that Rosewood decorated with white hydrangeas and cream colored roses in a dramatic cascade down the side.

Before entering into the main reception space we created a candlelit and floral display to create a warm welcome to the guests. This way we also made use of the bridesmaid bouquets for everyone to see.

One of the most fun features was the Groom’s cake table. Anna wanted to give him a golf themed cake since it was also his birthday. Here we also made a display of monogrammed golf balls and tees for guests to take as favors.

The couple wanted to have a special place to honor of our serving soldiers!

This is one of my favorite images of the couple dancing together. Their smiles say everything! It was a beautiful evening.
