Melissa and Matthew wanted to have a wedding in the Fall with warm, balanced colors and traditional elements. They were looking to incorporate a Fall feel without going overboard on the color palette and keeping a more traditional feel of a sit down dinner and dancing for their reception.

They started with such a lovely venue in the SC State Museum ~ we developed a design that was elegant but inviting for all guests, all enjoyed the amazing meals served by Capital City Catering.  Terri Jowers really outdid herself on the lovely floral design that truly brought the beautiful tables to life.

Melissa’s dear friend gave a heart-felt toast in which she reminded Melissa of a couple of wedding details she had picked out many, many years ago ~ it was a beautiful story and to see those details present, including the stunning cake that her friend actually have an image of 🙂 was so perfect.

The couple’s family members made amazing homemade cookies for guests to enjoy and take home ~ a beautiful tradition they have shared for many years.

Hope you enjoy the images of this gorgeous wedding~ we were honored to have it featured on A Paper Proposal.
